It’s a long story, but suffice it to say that my previous publisher and I have parted ways, which has made my previously published books — including the first two Tammy Pierre mysteries — largely unavailable. I’m treating this as an opportunity, however, to re-release them as “Author’s Editions,” following Taylor Swift’s example with the Taylor’s Versions of her music.
I’d love your input on a couple of aspects of the project. First, regarding the new cover designs and imagery, please let us know your thoughts about these initial concept images. Feel free to share your design ideas as images, if you enjoy making them. For those who’ve read one or more of the Tammy Pierre novels, do the images here match up with how you’ve imagined Tammy?
Secondly, among the enhancements we’re considering for these new editions could be a Q&A section, where I answer readers’ questions about the characters, plots, places, or objects in the books — and perhaps about myself, as well. I’ve had some readers reach out to me already, but I’d love to hear from you what you’re curious to know more about Tammy and her world.
